I wrote this a month ago, but obviously forgot to hit send.  Sorry.  The workshop in Maryland is not happening this year.    

The original plan was for us to get short listed for a $100,000 prize, which I would be in the USA to make a presentation about.  Except we weren't short listed!  I can't afford to fly over for the workshop and as it is the first one, I did not feel justified charging the participants to cover it.  

There are a number of options for next summer.  One is that I build the cargo ferry.  Anyone is welcome to visit and help.  Another is that Maryland or one of the other US builders is ready next summer and I can visit en route to or from the Marshall Islands.  I will let you know.
