What kind heat temp you think is needed? Electric blanket or flame? Probably something between?
The epoxy wil soften at less than 100C/212F so more than a blanket, less than a flame. Hot air guns, or blower heaters work well.
This epoxy is supposed to take 72 hours to fully cure. Will it come off easier after cure? Bake it the whole time? Or mostly when getting insistent about it coming off?
Depends on the epoxy. Some are brittle ebfore full sure and will chip off, others are soft and won't. The less it is cured, the lower the heat to soften it and get it off.
Heat the part and the glass? Or the glass from the back side?
The part, but gently and over a reasonably large surface area. ie don't put the nozzle of the heat gun against the epoxy and turn it on high for 10 minutes.
This is supposed to be a artistic ascetic creation at some point. Will a release agent bother the epoxy finish? Any advice?
release won't affect the finish if applied properly. Plastic sheet might and might also show wrinkles if there is no peel ply layer. Unpoilshed wax might leave a residue on the part making painting or secondary bonding difficult.
