I know this is a bit rich coming from me, but, having read all the comments over the last couple of years, I would just love someone to build a Harry '50 or '60 from scratch and from plans and pretty much strictly according to the designs and specs. I suppose we all would! There must be someone out there who has the resources and the interest to put one together and see how it goes, both with the build and the sailing characteristics, and and also setting up a builders log online. I am too old and too cash poor - which probably describes all of us. The Harry's that have already been built appear to not have had any design or engineering related incidents, or am I wrong in this? Not that you hear much about them either way. Rob has obviously put a huge amount of work into developing the design. Perhaps Rob could crowd fund one - and enlist amateur help from the Harryproa group. I would stick in some cash - say five hundred - and also I would travel to the Gold Coast for a month and supply labor, for what it is worth. I just think that unless something like this happens, the idea will die a slow death.
