The proa forum is closing down. I have tried to post the following message there, but the moderator has refused to allow it. There are several members of both forums, so maybe one of them would like to post this on the proa forum?
Re: the proa forum closing down.
We are a broad group, including traditional and modern Pacific and Atlantic proas, cat, tri and mono sailors and people looking for easy ways to build, rig and sail all types of boats. It is easy going, does not need moderating apart from an occasional request that people be nice to each other. There is no personal animosity, we just discuss proas, building, sailing and anything vaguely related to them.
Current topics include Cheap wing sail rigs, Cockpit and cabin layout, Steering with a whipstaff, Polystyrene and other materials for hulls, Kit boats and Hull length/width ratios.
If you want to transfer pictures, text or files from the proa forum to the harryproa forum before they are deleted, you are welcome to do so.
See you there,
regards,
Rob Denney
