that isleway has to either eat into bridgedeck clearance, which in moderation it could. Or have a deckhouse on the deckhouse, some people sought a protected helm position anyway.
To which the alternatives of large open sliding hatches and a pram dodger seem just as valid. Especially since almost all cruising monos have dodgers anyway.
Domed cabin roofs and even domed hull tops might also have to serve as decks, only you can say if that is a worthwhile idea.
