I can see that in the tropics and clement climate this boat offers the best of several worlds. For sailing like in the Baltics (even in the summer ;-) an inside helm would be an asset. To change the least to the design could the ww hull be moved to lee to where the tables are and have windows all around in the wall parts above beam height? The cantable steering wheel à la HP60 could be used.


Also, I have the impression that without much twiddling the tramp frames (excellent idea, by the way) could fit between the hull bows to cover the Y of the beams when folded, offering tramp space while in the marina.

I wonder if the meeting surfaces of the folding bow ends could be shaped such that instead of a flat surface they are each other mirror image in the shape of a bow. Naively, both hulls would have the same bows at the same length, catamaran like (same mold!) but the lw hull would be extended with an additional bow end folding down over the original one.
