Hello all - Is this setup likely of any use. Advantage I see is 4 boards which will hopefully reduce the length by increasing surface area required to do the job hence able to sail in shallow stuff - same depth as draught, or thereabouts, could also lift up. End cap/rail may also be useful on base of rudder. If an open backed cassette was used rudders could kick up. Some mechanism could allow auto rotation - like when helm right over contact could be made with hull mounted object moving links to both secondary pivots on rudder assembly ( by pushing/pulling significantly harder on tiller) to cause/enable rudder post to free wheel/ do a 180*.
Is this gibberish? Spose I could draw something if it is of any interest or merit
