Two years ago I used copper powder in epoxy as an antifouling coating.
Before trying it on my boat I had a test piece in the water for two years(!). It was clean of growth all the time.
So I put it on the boat. There was all kinds of animal and vegetable life on it when we got it out of the water again.
So now back to hard antifouling paint.
