Sounds like you have your priorities right. Sailing and fiddling are much more fun than work.

A bit of sailing and getting bits and pieces together for the first electric thruster.We have touched 15kts. We are becoming familiar with the sheeting water but no modifications to the bows yet.Priority is to confirm electric drive has the grunt then remove the outboard transom.
