About windsurf sails.
This is not to rain on anyone's parade; However there is an issue with larger windsurf sail sizes:
Windsurf sails larger than 6.5 meters tend to have a LOT of camber. the reason is that these invariably only get used in very light winds. When you put a sail to be used in 8-10 knots of wind by 170Lbs of man and equipment onto a boat to be used in 20 knots and 250 Lbs of man and equipment things don't work so well.
I know this from experiments with Bernd Kohler's DUOs (windsurf rigged beach cats; very cheap and fast):
Basically rigs bigger than 6.5 meters (You can get them up to 12!) don't work well unless: They are older; (At least 10 years) Older windsurf rigs that use dacron and allow camber to be set by batten tension alone do work; But they typically didn't have the very large sizes; You might be able to find a 7.5 to an 8 meter...
FWIW: I'm a big fan of windsurf-type sails on carbon masts for multihulls.
